GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE (GAC)

The Governmental Affairs Committee for the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer body of WHCC Members to review projects and legislation which represent and advocate the interests of the business community.

The committee is comprised of Chamber Members who have an interest in city planning, development and/or legislative concerns at Local and State levels. From time to time individual member request support or opposition on projects. Guidelines for how this process works and how to submit a project for support are available in this section.

Our newly Board-appointed Vice-Chair of GAC, Sherri Franklin, took the helm in January. She and her co-Chair, Ted Green are leading the Governmental Affairs Committee meetings. If you are interested in joining GAC, contact us at
gmorrill@wehochamber.com.

The Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) invites project applicants to present details about their projects, such as location, zoning, size, and requests. The GAC assesses these presentations for alignment with city guidelines, making recommendations to the Board of Directors for potential support or endorsement.
